Elena B. Roper is an associate attorney at Peck Ritchey, LLC. In addition to representing individuals and families, Elena represents financial institutions, medical institutions, and various fiduciaries.

Elena graduated with her Juris Doctorate from Indiana University Maurer School of Law where she was named to the Dean’s List multiple semesters. During law school, Elena served as the third-year representative to the Student Bar Association, was a member of the Indiana Journal for Law and Social Equality, and competed in the 2020 Sherman Minton Moot Court Competition. Elena also participated in numerous pro bono activities, including Maurer’s Inmate Legal Assistance Project. Prior to attending law school, Elena graduated from Indiana University at Bloomington with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.

Prior to joining Peck Ritchey, Elena gained experience in several practice areas including, labor and employment, family, and criminal law, all with a focus on litigation.

Elena’s practice areas include Trust and Probate Litigation, Guardianship Litigation and Administration, Estate Administration, Will Contests, Fiduciary Defense Litigation, and Elder Law. She is an active member of the Chicago Bar Association and Illinois State Bar Association.
